No Increase In Homeowner Insurance (For Now)

The North Carolina Rate Bureau requested an increase of homeowner insurance rates last November.  That was rejected by the NC Insurance commissioner last week temporarily stopping a rate hike.  That will not be the end of the discussions as there is a hearing set for July to hear more evidence as it pertains to the rate increase.  Linked below is an article from The News & Observer providing more detailed information about the proposal
